A Captured by Aliens Conclusion

The seasons changed many times after the enslaved humans returned to Earth.

Many, like our young story teller, travelled back and forth across the country wandering from job to job.  No one knew what they were looking for.  And no one would find it.

Not everyone was there, of course.

But even those that thought they wanted to return home, to go back to a normal life found it incredibly hard.  They couldn't relate, and couldn't share what had happened for fear of being called crazy.

Gradually, they all started migrating back to the place they had been relased.  They waited.  They hoped and prayed that maybe the aliens would come back.  Please please let it be today.

The aliens would never come back, though.

And the humans could never truelly go home.
